Coast Guard crew saves 11 from burning boat
A Coast Guard crew rescued 11 people from a 44-foot yacht after it caught fire approximately three miles south of Wychmere Harbor last night around 11:30 p.m. “When we arrived on scene we could see the boat was engulfed in smoke,” said Petty Officer First Class Matthew Hussey, the station Chatham boat coxswain.

The Coast Guard has rescued 11 people from a 44-foot yacht that burned off Cape Cod. The Coast Guard says a crew from Chatham responded to a distress call from the yacht Bronze Monkey at about 11:35 p.m. on Friday.
